By build a retaining wall with corrugated metal,corrugated iron retaining walls,corrugated metal fence,corrugated steel and wood retaining wall,wood and metal retaining wall ,
We decided to raise our sloping front yard by installing a retaining wall and fence. The corrugated metal and wood design is inspired by some of the houses I’ve seen in Cayucos, California.
First, I had to get my ideas on paper. (enter the notebook…)
It was slow going, but it all came together nicely.

Behr’s Water Proofing Wood Stain (SC-104 Cordovan Brown)
2 1/2 Deck Screws
1″ Deck Screws for attaching the corrugated metal

Pocket Hole Jig
Miter Saw
Power Drill
Circular Saw
I LOVE THIS !!! Ineed to build a 2 ft high retaining wall would it be necessary to have the two sides with the concret fill for that small of a wall and would i be able to see the full specs of the build
I only used concrete to set the posts and recycled concrete blocks and stone for drainage and fill for the planter box.
caniget the full specs on this would love this in my back yard i only need it to be 2 ft high
Hi sheerwing1, that’s bout the height of this project. Sorry, I don’t have complete specs, it was built using treated lumber, 4×4 post and 2×4 framing and recycled corrugated tin roofing. Hope that helps.
